ACS: 20 Week Assessment of Clinical Skills.

ACS: 20 Week Assessment of Clinical Skills.

A 20 week clinical skills course starting 2nd week of January in preparation for June ACS exam,  our students have access to our dentistry practice lab 6 days per week 4 hours each, including 1 session with instructor per week(3 hours each) for the first 12 weeks and 2 sessions per week (3 hours each) for the last 8 weeks. Our instructors are qualified dentists that have successfully passed the ACS exam. Students must provide the Typodont and required instruments as per the ACS exam, (materials list provided upon registration). Our teaching strategy follows a results-based method, with strong focus on the actual rules and criteria used to grade the ACS exam and promoting self-evaluation. We offer presentations for the techniques followed by open discussion and finally practice training sessions for each specialized project, helping our students to evaluate their own skills.
